Hi,
ID3 Editor is really nice and perhaps worth the money. But I'm bored while waiting, if ID3 Editor is updating a music folder at my home NAS. It's some times faster if I first copy the folder to my local hdd, edit the tags, update them and write them back to my NAS. Is there any possibility to speed the process up?
Regards
René
Here is an example: ID3 Editor needed 5m 20s to update a folder with 20 mp3s with a size of 89.41 MB. Copied to the Desktop and edited there it took only 7 secs to update the folder.

If I drag'n drop a folder from my CIFS share to the ID3 Editor I always get an Error "Could not open the file" with an explanation:
Error Domain=NSCocoaErrorDomain Code=256 UserInfo=0x155b20
"The file "XYZ" couldn't be opened."
After that message I'm able to edit the common tags of the files inside that folder and update them without any problems.
Regards
René
Edit: Same if I try to drag'n drop a folder from my desktop to the ID3 Editor.
