I notice that one album from itunes in m4a format has copyright stored in the ID3 tag which is used to display the Record Label (see example below), which looks very nice in itunes, and indeed on my iphone.
I am unable to use ID3editor to modify m4a tags, but I have used a free program called Subler to good effect. However, when I use ID3editor to modify the tags of mp3s, I am able to modify the copyright field, but it does not show up in itunes.
Is there a reason for this? Do only m4as truly support the copyright field, or is it just that itunes only supports it for m4as and not mp3s?
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
