hi all,

System: SBS 2003

I'm trying to utilise the AD functionality for Disclaimers Users. I've created the group in the users section within AD (security group) and added a user. The problem i'm getting is that users outside of this group are still getting the disclaimer added.

Is there a particular group make up i should be using?

The actual issue we are trying overcome here is that many of our email delivery scripts use our main smtp server to deliver customer material. These scripts are not registered/tied to a AD user. We do not want the disclaimer being added to these emails, therefore we thought the 'Disclaimer User' would be the perfect answer.

Can you please help?

Cheers

Have you enabled the 'Disclaimer users' group in the disclaimer manager and updated the configuration data? As this is required to force an update of the Active Directory group cache.

Another way to force a cache reload is to restart the disclaimer in the disclaimer manager.
