Hi,

ID3 Editor is really nice and perhaps worth the money. But I'm bored while waiting, if ID3 Editor is updating a music folder at my home NAS. It's some times faster if I first copy the folder to my local hdd, edit the tags, update them and write them back to my NAS. Is there any possibility to speed the process up?

Regards
René

Here is an example: ID3 Editor needed 5m 20s to update a folder with 20 mp3s with a size of 89.41 MB. Copied to the Desktop and edited there it took only 7 secs to update the folder.

Slow network updating can be reduced by not copying the original to the trash.

In the preferences, uncheck 'Move original to trash'.
