Hello everybody,

we work with QS Disclaimer Version 4.1.0
We installed the programm directly on the Exchange Server 2010.
Everything works fine but now we are dealing with a big problem.

We bought the remote administration license. We can edit the disclaimer, everything good.
But, how do we deal with the disclaimer images?
Till now, the images stored directly on the Exchange under C:\images
The remote can not access that folder, so we decided to use an network share and mapped this to Q:\
We can edit the disclaimer, insert the images. Everyting looks fine. But in the email, there is no disclaimer image which comes from Q:\.
Permission should be correct, network service has full access to that image.
Also, there is no entry under "Events and loggins" in the disclaimer manager.

Anyone dealing with such a problem.

Regards,

Sven

As far as I understand the images need to be stored on the server or there are issues with permissions for the transport service. The easiest way around this is to use a symlink to link the images to a network share or duplicate the server folder location. Have you contacted support to request a way around this?

With regards to the logs, this is nearly always due to access by 'NETWORK SERVICE' being removed, so check C:\Windows\System32\LogFiles\QSMUEX for the permission and add it if it is not there, then restart the system in the manager.
