Keep file dates the same - not working

I am using the MAC version.

The option to keep the file modification date is not working,
I checked this option "Keep file dates the same" in the preferences. But the file's date is still modified.

Is it a bug or am I missing something?

This was an issue with the operating system only setting one of the time fields and has now been addressed in the new release 1.19.20.
